Description

You will be working in a fast-paced organisation with a driven, hardworking team; who really care about offering a high level of service to their stake holders. The company are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who can support with a handover from the current Financial Controller who is currently working their notice and hand over with the new Financial Controller. The company are currently in their interview process for the permanent Financial Controller; if you are interested in the permanent position, you will have the opportunity to be considered for this too. The interim assignment is likely to be 4 months.

This job will suit a Part Qualified/ Fully Qualified/ QBE Financial Controller. Warner Recruitment are super excited to be working with this local well established and growing company based in Northampton.

Financial Controller
Duties include:

Preparation of monthly Management Accounts

P&L reporting and forecasting

Supporting with and ensuring Audits run smoothly

Presenting in senior management meetings

Preparation of month end accounts

Managing a team of 4 direct reports (within a finance team of 20)

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller

Weekly reports

Building a relationships with stakeholders

Quarterly cashflow reports

Budget setting and analysis

Variance analysis

Balance sheet reporting

Month end reportingPerson:

Part Qualified/ Fully Qualified in ACCA/ CIMA/ACA or equivalent, or Qualified by Experience

Good communicator

Previous experience as a Financial Controller, or similar role

Able to work on your own initiative

Assertive, as you will need to speak with many non-accounts managers across the business to gather information which will be essential for this roleBenefits:
