    Overview

    ISS STOXX is seeking an enthusiastic candidate with 2-5 years of experience to join the SI, Thematics and Strategy Index R&D team. In this role, you will develop new index concepts focusing on ESG, Climate and Sustainability.

    The successful candidate will be part of a global, dynamic and inclusive research team that are responsible for index research and design, developing thought leadership in the sustainability investment space and creating competitive index solutions. The role will also involve taking part in client meetings.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop innovative passive quantitative strategies focusing on ESG, Climate, or Sustainability.
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders

    Requirements:

    • Successful candidates should come from a quantitative finance background.
    • 2-5 years experience within Financial markets
    • The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with a passion for cutting-edge portfolio construction
    • Education: Postgraduate level or above in a quantitative discipline
    • Good communication, writing and presentation skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, are advantageous.
    • Proficiency in Python, SQL and data manipulation skills

    Nice to have

    • Experiences in ESG, Climate, or Sustainability, either in an industry role or in a research setting.
