About the role You will work with the management team to lead on our recruitment and HR policies / processes.
The main duties of the role include:
Creation and management of HR policies and processesIdentification of new potential hires using job sites and LinkedInLeading the initial round of the recruitment processIssuing offer letters, schedule of services and contracts of employmentManaging the onboarding of staff, including inductionsManaging the offboarding of staff, including exit interviewsHelping to enhance a positive and collaborative workplace culture Assistance with salary benchmarkingImplementation and management of internal employee benefitsCommunication of employee benefits to encourage effective usageDesign and implementation of wellbeing initiatives and activitiesOrganisation of staff eventsManagement of disciplinary and grievance processes This is the first time the company has had an internal People / HR Manager, and you would be the sole HR Professional within the business until the company grows to the next level.
Required skills / experience At least 3-4 years of experience in Human Resources within a financial or professional services organisationCIPD qualification or equivalent is essential for this roleStrong understanding of employment law and best practiceTrack record of helping to foster and maintain a positive company cultureYou're able to work from our Brighton office one to two days per week (including Friday, which is our weekly 'office day')What we can offer you You can expect to receive the following whilst working for Drewberry:
Salary of £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience (based on full time hours)Quarterly bonus structure24 days paid holiday (based on full time hours of 37.5 hours per week), plus bank holidays.
