    Director of Multi-Unit Accounts position within Lyons food service division. This position will be responsible for maintaining New & Existing emerging chain business in the Western Region. Additionally, this role is responsible for cultivating new business and relationships with Emerging Chains and Coffee Houses in line with Lyons Magnus strategies for growth.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To increase overall sales, profitability and product penetration within the assigned targets and customer base.
  • Negotiate and manage customer pricing programs to maximize profitability.
  • Plan and implement effective strategies to grow sales and achieve assigned territory target objectives.
  • Utilize insights and market intelligence to help identify new selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate when appropriate with key suppliers to identify and target new selling opportunities.
  • Build Relationships and work directly with the Core Directors, MU Team and Chefs.
  • Schedule workdays with the Core MU Team.
  • Work Broker ideation meetings per quarter.
  • Salesforce – keep pipeline and account movement up to date.
  • Stay apprised of changes with emerging chain operators, relevant industry news, product trends and associated commodity and key cost drivers impacting our products.
  • Participate in industry events or conventions deemed necessary to increase company exposure and support and cultivate new customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel as needed to manage and grow the business.
  • Ability to analyze customer menus to identify value added selling opportunities.
  • Adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated track record of success and advancement.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to prepare and articulate customized sales presentations with strong value proposition to MU customers.
  • The ability to communicate and interact with senior level customers in: Marketing, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, Culinary, Product Innovation and Distribution.
  • Must have experience managing proprietary and/or custom development projects.
  • Ability to articulate and negotiate key business terms with customers to reach a mutually executable business agreement.
  • Must be highly motivated and results driven with the ability to work independently and contribute within a team environment.
  • Proficiency and familiar with the use of Microsoft Office software and associated work-related social platforms and technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of multi-unit customers.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from accredited university, preferably with an emphasis on Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
