Information about the role:
Procurement is a key value creation driver with strong influence at executive and board level. IVC Evidensia is now looking to further strengthen the team with a new Head of Direct Procurement.
Reporting straight to the Group Procurement Director, responsible for approximately £500m GBP per annum of direct spend, this is an exciting an influential role, with the potential to deliver huge value to the business, with excellent development opportunities for the right candidate.
The primary focus of the role is to increase the value delivered through strategic procurement and category management across the group clinical spend (example pharma, nutrition and diagnostics). Additionally, the role will drive and continue to develop procurement capability and build the procurement ways of working and community.
Naturally, the role will lead supplier relationship management activities and identify groupwide sourcing initiatives to make supplier agreements available to the entire group. This includes negotiating and setting up new supplier agreements in markets. Furthermore, the role is a support to the growth strategy and the development of their own label development. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and optimize the supply chain to deliver sustainable business results.
