    FACILITIES MANAGER - NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONLocation: Westminster, LondonSalary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum

    Contract Type:
    Permanent, Full time

    Working Pattern:
    Monday
    • Friday, 9am 5pmAre you passionate about creating safe and secure environments? Our client, a non profit organisation dedicated to preventing and tackling homelessness, is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth running of their facilities.

    They provide a home with support for families in housing or other need, offer housing and welfare rights advice, advise and coach individuals to find work, and provide immigration advice.

    Last year alone, they helped over 1,200 people, aiming to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.


    About the Role:
    As the Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities.

    Act as the organisation's health and safety officer and ensure compliance with fire safety regulationsCreate and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environmentManage a facilities management budget, ensuring best value for moneyOversee maintenance and repairs, including heating, ventilation, cleaning, and securityEnsure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulationsManage capital improvement projectsServe as the point of contact for tenantsSkills and Qualifications:

    Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (Preferably NEBOSH)Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislationPrevious experience in facilities management, including contractor management and building maintenanceExcellent people management skillsHighly organised with a wide range of practical skillsStrong documentation and record-keeping abilitiesAbility to build and maintain excellent working relationshipsFlexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as requiredUnderstanding of safeguarding requirementsOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
