    Software Support Operative - London, United Kingdom - Kirkland & Ellis

    POSITION OVERVIEWThe Document Services team is seeking an experienced Operator with high efficiency and technical acumen. Must be able to decipher and analyse instructions regarding detailed work requests and projects. Candidate must be flexible and exhibit ownership over the advancement of skillsets and status updates on work product.

    The schedule for this position is 5 consecutive days to include a Saturday & Sunday 9.Flexibility to work overtime on an as needed basis.

    Expertly revise, format, compare and cross-reference documentsConvert documents from various formats to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, while adhering to the Firm's standard best practicesGenerate and update/revise Tables of Contents and create/run mail mergesExecute defined terms checks and reformat documents utilising the Firm's standards and toolsModify, compile, and redact PDFs; create forms, e-closing binders and bookmarks in Adobe AcrobatCreate, revise, and reformat PowerPoint presentations, maintaining Firm branding standardsCreate and modify organisational charts, flowcharts and timelines in Visio and PowerPointFamiliarity with Excel, including reformatting, setting up for printing, and basic formulas and chartsProvide technical support to clients, including software troubleshootingQUALIFICATIONSEducation, Work Experience, SkillsA college degree or business certification is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

    Proven experience as a word processor in a legal or financial services organization is required.
    Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and providing exceptional customer service.

    Technologies/SoftwareAdvanced knowledge of the following software applications is required:
    Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, OmniPage, Nuance Power PDF, Litera (Compare), DocXtools, and Outlook.
