    Established in 1982 and with 40 years of experience, our M&E building services client has built an unrivalled reputation for delivering a professional, reliable and friendly service to property owners and large commercial clients across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties.

    Due to their success, they are now recruiting for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join the team.

    To main objective of the role is to manage & deliver Mechanical projects within various sectors including schools, hospitals and high-end country homes through to successful completion.

    The projects can involve plumbing, heating, ventilation, drainage, renewable energy etc. To undertake financial and risk management ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance is maintained.
    Managing engineers on-site, ensuring compliance is adhered to, including health and safety, and ensuring quality is delivered.
    Liaison with subcontractors regarding the delivery of outsourced services to a project.
    Monitoring and provision of monthly reports on project performance against budgets and forecasting.

    Identify project variables/opportunities and ensure these are evaluated and progressed as appropriate to include recording and accounting for project changes.

    Monitoring and managing the performance of on-site staff, ensuring that direct reports have access to all company policy and procedure documentation, including Health and Safety documentation and PPE.

    To undertake pricing of works where necessary.
    Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Contract Manager within the Mechanical and Electrical engineering sector.
    Capable planner and organiser, with a proven track record of delivering results based on a quality focus.
    A sound knowledge of health and safety, policies, processes and procedures aligned with mechanical services engineering.
