    Description

On top of an excellent package, this role pays in the region of 80-100k

    In this role as the Back End Tech Lead for my client, you will have the chance to remain hands on with Software Development and stay up to date with modern technologies/tools. You will be expected to conduct pair programming exercises and review code, as well as mentor junior members of your team. You will work with Product, Data & Front End Developers to take requirements, assist in the planning and design phase of projects and also manage timescales and delivery throughout, maintaining contact and providing updates to Senior Management. At least 50% of your job will be to manage the team, this will also include conducting 1-2-1's and assisting with the recruitment and interviews.

    For this Back End Tech Lead position, I am looking for:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or similar
    • Over 8 years of Industry Experience with production software
    • 2+ years of team leadership/project experience
    • 5 years Python / Django development experience
    • Strong understanding of the Full SDLC
    • Knowledge of AWS and DevOps principles
    • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Passion for Learning & Development
