    ROLE SUMMARY:

    As a Learning and Development Coordinator, you will report directly to the L&D Partner and play a pivotal role in supporting the training and development of our staff, from induction through to management development. You will work closely with various departments to assess training needs, develop, and deliver training programs, and ensure our staff have the skills they need to succeed.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level learning development skills, experience working in a fast-changing and highly professional environment to deliver high-quality outcomes, be used to developing and delivering online training courses (experience in learning management systems, good technical skills) and have good knowledge of online communication tools (such as Teams).

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify Training Needs: Liaise with stakeholders to conduct skills gap analysis to determine training needs across different teams and levels of staff.
  • Develop Training Programmes: Support in the design and implementation of a range of effective training programmes and learning interventions suitable for online delivery, induction programmes, ongoing professional development, and leadership programmes.
  • Coordinate Training Sessions: Support in organising and scheduling training sessions, ensuring they are accessible to staff across different time zones.
  • Deliver Training: Conduct 1-1 training sessions, group sessions and coaching sessions in line with individual and department training needs.
  • Manage Learning Resources: Develop and maintain a library of online learning resources, including training courses, videos, and reading materials.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes, using feedback and performance data to make continuous improvements.
  • Support Career Development: Work with individuals and teams to support career development planning and progression within the organisation.
  • Drive a culture of continuous professional development: Support with sourcing appropriate training and liaise with external training providers.
  • Stay Up to Date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in online education and professional development.
  • Undertake any other work as advised by the Learning and Development Partner to meet business needs.

    • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    The successful candidate will be qualified up to degree level. Ideally, be part of fully CIPD qualified and /or have a recognised Learning and Development qualification or
    PTTLS Training qualification.

  • A passion for training and the professional growth of others.
  • Proven experience in a learning and development role.
  • Experience in course writing, designing, and delivering training programmes.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to apply these to create engaging and effective training programmes.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and development.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and tools.
  • The ability to work well in teams from different disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Comfortable working remotely.

    • Specifically, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a learning and development role within an online learning environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Expertise and experience in excellent development and delivery of training courses online.
  • Track record in delivering excellent staff outcomes using training online.
  • Ability to monitor training progress and analyse data.
  • Able to problem solve and find creative solutions with lasting benefits.
