- Foster relationships with the business community.
- Drive engagement across events and client services.
- Keep pace with the industry by gathering insights from financial services.
- Source speakers and industry experts for events.
- Engage key accounts for sponsorship opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling packages.
- Minimum of 5 years working in international events and conferences, preferably in an Account Management or sales capacity
- Relevant experience in undertaking marketing and corporate communications work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in working within a multicultural and international environment
- Ability to use an international network of contacts for commercial purposes
- Relevant communications and Web experience
- Demonstrable expertise in budgeting and managing projects to tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic and attention to quality and detail
- Ability to solve problems and successfully engage with appropriate technical and internal resources
- Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organisational skills
