We're currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to generate leads, engage with prospects, and support our sales and business development functions. This is an entry-level position ideal for those starting their career in sales and.

As a Sales Development Representative in our Manchester-based team, your role will involve:

Contacting potential clients (including C-suite/Directors) follow-up calls, emails, and social outreach to assess needs and build relationships.
Nurturing relationships and advancing prospects through the sales funnel.
Providing information about IRIS Software Group's products and services.
Handing off qualified leads and interested parties to the team for discussions and negotiations.
Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (PIs).

We're looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or telemarketing roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs.
Comfortable with technology and proficient in using sales and CRM software tools.
Able to conduct research on potential clients and industries to tailor communication and pitches.
