    The GIS Systems Support Analyst will work independently or as a workstream lead to support the delivery of GIS support, services and solutions to our clients.

    This will include helping define support models and day to day provision of technical support services. support GIS application build, configuration, upgrade and deployment; spatial data management; testing support; user training and service performance reporting

    The GIS Systems Support Analyst shall be responsible for:
    Establishing and managing the Locana support model and support processes across clients.

    Managing tickets within different management systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk) covering incident reports and technical requests, performing initial triage and troubleshooting, either resolving or handing off to appropriate resolver groups, whether Locana or 3rd party.

    Liaising with client resolver groups and key stakeholders to elaborate or help troubleshoot and resolve tickets and technical requests within target SLAs and KPIs.

    Working closely with members of the Locana GIS Team to drive incidents and requests to timely resolution.
    Expected to participate in team rota for out-of-hours Major Incident Management.
    Performing some geospatial database management and administration tasks.
    Supporting design, development, implementation, and testing of GIS application configuration.
    Supporting Locana Project Managers and/or other team members as required in support of overall service delivery

    Previous experience in client facing roles, particularly provision of support services
    Knowledge of GIS applications (Esri, FME, VertiGIS)
    Spatial data management, ETL & publishing
    Some experience in configuration and/or management of GIS applications
    Understanding of infrastructure required to support GIS applications
    Experience of testing GIS solutions
    Excellent planning and organizational skills. Project management experience beneficial.
    Degree in GIS, engineering, geography or scientific discipline and/or professional certification in vendor products / technologies beneficial
    Demonstrable interest in GIS technologies and solutions, ideally seeking a career as a GIS professional
    Demonstrates ability to work well with others Utilises effective team collaboration skills to achieve project goals, solve problems and manage conflict
    Ability to understand the bigger picture as well as short-term perspectives of situations
