    Operating in the UK for over 20 years, Collingwood's client is one of the nation's leading manufacturers for their specific range of construction products.

    Our client recently amalgamated several other businesses within the same industry to create a larger group, all specialising in similar and complementary products.

    Due to their ongoing performance our client was acquired by the leading group in Europe within this specific subsector.

    With a dynamic leadership team in position, the ambition is to double the size of this group within five years, through additional acquisitions and organic growth.

    Head count for this individual manufacturer within the UK is circa 75nr, with the Managing Director reviewing moving two facilities into a new, state of the art factory by the Spring of 2025.

    Due to the groups previous performance, together with driven appetite for growth, investment within the UK business is part of the 5 year business plan.

    This person will lead from the front, managing a team of operational departments and staff, including, Design Engineering, Procurement, Estimating & Production Planning, whilst supporting the manufacturing & logistics team.

    The successful candidate should be capable of fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

    Working in collaboration with the MD and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Operations will help shape and deliver ambitious growth plans by driving performance, quality and staff engagement.

    This is a key leadership role, which will be instrumental in supporting a culture of quality excellence and driving the on going transformation of the operational team.

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
    Oversee the production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of high quality products.
    Indirect support to the production leads within the business.
    Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork throughout the operations department
    Ideally you'll have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, procurement or a related field.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyse complex data and make data-driven decisions.
    Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
