    Job Description

    A wholesale subsidiary bank is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Manager to support their London team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Credit Risk within a banking environment. This will be a 6-month contract which will require you to travel 4-days in the London office and is paying around £500 per day (outside IR35).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct independent, high-quality credit risk assessments and recommendations, within counterparties and country risks
    • Assist in identifying, monitoring, and controlling credit risks, establishing and maintaining appropriate risk management controls, systems, policies, and procedures
    • Ensure accurate reporting of credit exposures, adherence to approved credit limits, and timely reporting of credit limit breaches
    • Provide support and guidance to business areas on credit-related matters, including transaction structuring, policy adherence, and completing credit proposals

    Key Requirements:

    • Experienced Credit Risk Professional (5+ years)
    • Good understanding of wholesale banking and treasury products
    • Strong background in Banking (ideally in an international bank)
    • Able to start within a month
