    We are seeking an experienced Scientific Operations Manager to manage and optimise the scientific functions of our growing startup.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background coupled with extensive experience in management of world-class molecular biologists and scientists.

    They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day operations, managing projects to tight deadlines, problem-solving, driving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

    Our client is a dynamic biotech startup located in London, dedicated to pioneering advancements in cell reprogramming techniques for the development of revolutionary therapies and treatments.

    Scientific Operations Manager

    Salary:
    £DoE + Excellent Benefits package (including improved pension and equity)
    Implement best practices and SOPs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry protocols.


    Project Management:
    Coordinate with research and development teams to align operational activities with project milestones and objectives.
    Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
    # Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives for team members.

    A MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline, preferably in molecular biology, cell biology, Engineering or a related field.

    Proven experience in operations management within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role.

    Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion.
    Proficiency in implementing quality management systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
