    The Assignment

    The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading, delivering and configuring the Atlassian Suite of products including Jira Core, Jira Software, Confluence, as well as delivering training to external clients and project scoping. The Senior Consultant may also engage in pre-sales activities and is regarded as a go-to person in their field of knowledge.

    Things you will be working on

    · Analyse and define customer's needs and requirements

    · Write technical & functional specifications

    · Responsible for installation and configuration of Jira and Confluence server from scratch on a Linux platform.

    · Responsible for the creation a cloud environment in a production environment

    · Responsible for Server to Server migration

    · Responsible for Server to Cloud Migration

    · Responsible for the implementation of basic to semi-complex Workflow

    · Perform audits

    · Provide advice and make recommendations

    · Deploy, configure and integrate applications according to customer needs and requirements

    · Give advice to the client, based on previous experience

    · Bring in deep technical experts to give more in depth advice as and when needed

    · Identify future opportunities within the account, and pass the information across to the relevant sales or pre-sales contact within Valiantys

    · Provide guidance and support to more junior consultants- sharingyourknowledge and experience, as well as best practices

    · Handle customer relationship through effective communication throughout duration of project

    · Lead scoping meetings

    · Write reports and documentation

    · Detect opportunities

    · Be company ambassador

    · Write blog articles

    · Participate in events to promote Atlassian tools (internal & external)

    · Lead webinars

    · Join one ofthe global practices which aligns to Valiantys global vision

    · Aspire to become a practice expert by enhancing skills and knowledge through continuous learning and development

    · Contribute approximately 3 days per month towards practice activity

    · Based on the practice strategy, lead at least one initiative to support the Valiantys offerings.

    · Share formally or informally knowledge and support colleagues on developing their skills

    What you need to be successful

    · Has a commitment to personal and professional growth

    · Is able to demonstrate leadership ability resulting in customer success

    · Has the ability to effectively articulate a recommendation to both an executive level decision makers and key technical influencers

    · Has an ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment

    · You will have delivered mid to large scale technical projects in a previous role

    · Ideally, you will have had prior experience in consulting or digital transformation using an Agile methodology or pre-sales activity for Atlassian products or similar collaborative tools and also:

    · Has a strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, in particular SAFe framework

    · Has an excellent understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle (ALM) and of the tools used to support it

    · Tool knowledge of Jira Align would be a bonus

    Location

    This role is fully remote, from the United Kingdom.

    A requirement for the position is to have the flexibility to travel and work onsite at customer as and when a customer may request it.
