    Description

    We are looking for a Research Associate to join our Protein Sciences team to help drive the early-stage R&D projects.

    This lab-based position will involve undertaking laboratory work and will be responsible for contributing to the production of high-quality recombinant proteins from mammalian cell lines.

    Performing lab-scale transient expression of fusion proteins, antibodies and bispecific mAb2 in mammalian cell systems (HEK293).
    Contributing to the maintenance of reagents and general lab facilities.
    Analysing and critically interpreting data to draw results-driven conclusions.
    Theoretical and practical scientific/technical knowledge of at least a relevant Bachelor of Science degree.
    Relevant, hands-on experience with protein production in an academic or industrial setting.
    Familiarity with DNA assembly techniques for cloning fusion proteins, antibodies and bi-specific mAb2 for expression in mammalian cells.
    Familiarity with relevant protein characterisation (H/UPLC, CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, endotoxin testing)
