    About the role:

    Ward Security is excited to announce a Senior Bid Manager opportunity to join our successful and expanding team. We are seeking an exceptional candidate who is highly skilled and dedicated to playing a pivotal role in our business growth. The ideal candidate will possess substantial bid management experience in the Security sector. Strong influencing and persuasion skills, alongside meticulous attention to detail and excellent writing abilities are essential for this role. The Senior Bid Manager will collaborate closely with the current Bid Manager, Head of Bids, Commercial Manager and Divisional Managing Directors to drive our bidding efforts forward.

    As our Senior Bid Manager your responsibilities will include:

    · Pipeline management

    · SME delegation and content building

    · Library gatekeeping

    · Write effective, concise and compelling content, draft bid responses and presentation collateral within the submission dates. This requires the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.

    · Presentation guidance

    · Initial presentation content drafting

    · Create, review and edit written content, working with commercial, operational and other stakeholders across the business to gather evidence to produce compelling win themes and propositions – including reviewing and supporting the Bid Manager in their bids

    · Obtain accurate, high-quality information from all bid stakeholders

    · Compliance with our commercial guidelines, processes and governance

    · Produce high quality, customer focused documents and presentations in support of our growth strategy

    · Manage and contribute to the development of the winning strategy including participation in solution design

    · Be creative in producing written work and graphical presentation, by using infographics, charts and pictures to support key solution and evidence points.

    · Author tender responses to ensure that all basis are covered in responding to specific and in line with the scoring matrix, or in line with market best practice.

    · Work collaboratively with the Chief Commercial Officer and Marketing Manager on case studies, document and presentation styling and overall marketing messaging

    Qualifications Required:

    · Shipley trained / certified

    · Association of Bid Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) trained, certified or member

    · BSI PAS 360:2023

    · Project Management qualification

    Personal Skills and Abilities Required:

    · Project management skills

    · Commercial understanding of the security services /manned guarding industry and/or FM and soft services desirable

    · Excellent written and verbal communication

    · Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Indesign, Visio and MS Teams

    · Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective partnership working with both internal and external stake holder

    Salary: circ £70,000 per annum
