    Description

    Our goal where possible is to automate and innovate, making sure the right tools are in place to enable the team to work as a business-enabling function rather than huddling over Excel running manual repetitive tasks.

    What you can expect to be doing:

    • Auditable safeguarded account reconciliations, complying with Payment Services Regulations 2017 (PSRs)
    • Daily reconciliation of payments
    • Reconcile all customer accounts through multiple products, spanning cash and investments
    • Ensure accurate accounting of payment transactions
    • Setup and continuous improvement of reporting and reconciliation processes
    • Work with engineering teams to ensure accurate reporting and distribution of information across the business
    • Work with the product team on new features to understand financial operations impacts and new requirements
    • Capacity planning, team management, coaching and career development

    What we're looking for:

    • At least 4 years experience in finance operations, ideally having taken part in setting up new reconciliation processes
    • Experience managing a small team of analysts
    • In-depth understanding of control frameworks and safeguarding regulations, preferably from working in a regulated environment
    • Experience within a high-growth business
    • Intermediate-advanced Excel
    • Continuous improvement approach
    • Someone happy to work from our office in Shoreditch 3 times per week
    • This is a role within the Operations team relating to client funds and is not a Finance role
