The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Providing general leadership of the project controls resources; monitoring project demands and owning all documents and deliverables created by the project controls teamDeveloping, monitoring and controlling an accurate project schedule and costs
Implementing robust monitoring and control processes to ensure project costs, schedules and any related risks are regularly reviewed
Consolidating and reporting on all capex elements within the project
Completing project construction cost reporting with cost forecasting and cost control, management of contingencies and regular reporting to client stakeholders including presentations
Liaising with the contractor's project controls and project managers in reviewing, challenging and negotiating supporting cost validation documentation
Leading change order and claims review, including review and recommendation of entitlements in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions
Maintaining client account management, monthly invoicing, purchase order management and reviewing contractual terms
Participating in industry benchmarking of project metrics
Participating and supporting best practice for the business, for project controls and cost management processes and procedures
Providing lessons learned on projects
A minimum of 15 years' experience in project controls
Experience working on projects in the pharmaceutical and/or tech sectors
Good time management, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Project)
Good technical writing and client-facing skills
A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
