- Take overall responsibility for the effective implementation of financial-related compliance measures, including AML and CTF systems and controls in the UK.
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations by implementing and maintaining appropriate measures.
- Develop and maintain a risk-based approach to AML and CTF arrangements, conducting regular assessments to manage risks effectively.
- Keep the compliance program up to date with regulatory changes and developments in the group's products and services.
- Manage the process of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) effectively.
- Ensure that the business has robust systems, procedures, and controls in place to comply with FCA requirements as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI).
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support the compliance program.
- Liaise with Nayax Group Corporate Compliance to report compliance risks and potential violations.
- Conduct regular monitoring activities, report results to Nayax Group Corporate Compliance, and assist in implementing and overseeing remediation activities.
- Previous experience as a compliance officer/manager in the FinTech industry (must)
- 6-10 years of experience in Compliance Regulatory Affairs, AML/CFT in the UK (must)
- Degree in Law is preferred
- FCA certification is mandatory
- Experience in developing and administering internal controls and processes.
- Background in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, investigations, peer-group analysis, and AML/CFT measures.
