Supported by the Community Engagement Manager, the Community Engagement Coordinator will help build and deliver some of programmes that are being planned for.

The key project that the role will focus on is delivering our Community Champions Programme, which seeks to empower our existing volunteers to assist us in reaching diverse communities.

Working with local stakeholders to learn from our experiences in each region and use this to continuously refine and improve our approach.

Our ideal candidate will have strong experience of working in a fast-paced community engagement or community events environment.

Have experience in a community engagement and working with volunteers from different ethnic groups and faiths to build meaningful relationships.

Have a dynamic, flexible approach, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A driving licence would be desirable although not essential.

Any experience of working in engagement with a focus on diversity and inclusion would be helpful in this role.
