    Executive/Senior Executive /Assistant Manager, Procurement (IT/Technology Services)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the procurement of technology and IT-related products/services whilst meeting users' specifications and requirements in a timely manner and at the most competitive price(s)
    • Review and improve existing procedures and processes to improve corporate governance, staff productivity and consolidate users' requirements to source for most competitive value buys
    • Work closely with team members and provide guidance, training and support direct reporting staff to optimize their contributions
    • Help trouble-shoot problems encountered by staff using the sourcing and procurement systems and liaise with external stake holders for rectification
    • Ensure that all purchasing activities and documentations are carried out timely and in compliance with the Purchasing Procedures and SATS Financial & Operating Approval Limits at all times
    • Ensure that the specifications and requirements are sufficiently detailed and complete for competitive quotes
    • Follow up closely with users on procurement process and attend to suppliers' queries and clarifications when required
    • Attend tender interviews and conduct negotiations with suppliers
    • Attend Tenders Committee's meetings with user for award recommendation

    KEY REQUIIREMENTS

    • Minimum degree with 2 years of experience in the procurement of technology and IT-related products/services
    • Experience in Ariba, SAP S4 Hana is essential and IBM MAXIMO will be preferred
    • Knowledge of MS office suites is essential
    • knowledge and working experience in data analytics will be preferred
    • Meticulous and pro-active
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Team player and able to lead a team of buyers
