    Description

    Responsible for developing the NPD concepts together with the Marketing team, including the competitive review and the ingredient and formulation strategy.

    Researching and identifying innovative raw materials to fit with the Eve Lom brand values and product concepts. Request formula, marketing sample and technical information from various suppliers, ensuring quality at every stage.
    Research and briefing appropriate packaging components to fit with the Eve Lom brand and product concepts.

    Manage product development projects to support the overall NPD Launch plan, tracking third party technical development and managing CPAs (timing, targets, markets).

    Leading third-party chemists, test houses and fragrance houses with the development of new formulation testing.
    Track and monitor all development costs in conjunction with third-party manufacturers to ensure costs are kept within budget.

    Working with the Regulatory and Technical Information manager to ensure all aspects of compliance management for all new products, adhering to UK & EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 Cosmetic Regulation and International regulatory standards and documentation.

    Ensure formula approval to international market regulations and the brands ingredient sourcing policy. Work closely with leadership to manage & execute on all project phases, creating and monitoring project timelines and milestones

    Develop products working with Marketing and Creative teams in New York and Packaging Development Manager based in the UK.

    Request in conjunction with Regulatory & Technical Information Manager regulatory documentation
    Coordinate the completion of all trade marketing briefs that involve development expertise.
    Support the management of product maintenance and VE projects.
    Reporting to the VP Product Development & Innovation based in the UK.

    Be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality.
    Have a proven understanding and knowledge of the EU and International Cosmetics Regulations.
    Have excellent project management skills.
    University graduate education level
    Must have (5+) years of experience in a skincare product development role
    Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and ideally Asana.
