    Location: Edmonton / Staines

    Contract: Permanent – Full time

    What will you be responsible for?

    As a Communications Officer , you'll be reporting to the HR business partner and working with the contract director, with links to the central communications function, the purpose of this role is to:

    • Support with the creation of internal and external communications in line with the local communications plan.
    • Contribute to communications channels, including:
      • Internal and external newsletters
      • Kier Transportation LinkedIn
      • Your Kier (intranet)
      • Promotional documents e.g. Kier At A Glance
    • Create first draft of awards entries for the contract
    • Commission and manage photography and videography of the contracts
    • Work with the social and environmental sustainability teams to ensure we effectively communicate any activities in the area
    • Work with the central communications team to ensure we're working together to successfully protect and enhance the reputation of the contracts

    What are we looking for?

    This role of Communications Officer is great for you if:

    • You have experience working as part of a communications team in a large business
    • You're an experienced copywriter with excellent communication skills
    • Can liaise with business leaders, clients and other stakeholders, showing confidence in networking and building relationships at all levels
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
