    Operations Manager
    The Operations Manager will support the Head of Operations Management and the Operations Management team to ensure effective and efficient management of operations across GSI4 in various capacities to implement initiatives that drive strategic priorities, improve processes and operational resilience.

    Responsibilities
    You will manage, provide support and take ownership of tasks as required by the Head of Operations Management and the Operations Management team incorporating the following functions: Global Process Management, Operational Resilience and Business Continuity, Digital Product Owners and Third Party Vendor Management, Audit Findings, Corporate Insurance Covers.

  • Internal & External Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Support the Head of Operations Management in the day to day running of the Operations Management Team, including being a "reference point" for queries, outputs and providing oversight of the deliverables across the department.
  • Act as the deputy Head of Operations Management
  • Preparing Board, Executive Committee and other Management Reports for Operations Delivery.
  • Represent and support the department in leading projects where operations functions are involved, including cross-functional communication, as well as transactional support across GSI4 and relevant Shared Services.
  • Monitor the departments workloads/capacity planning including responses to requests from other departments and the GSI4 Change Committee.
  • Monitor and manage the department's compliance regulatory guidelines, facilitating and leading where necessary any operational responses to audit findings.
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment along with interaction with various departments within GSI4.
  • Establish, monitor and continually evaluate procedures and guidelines for improving internal processes, workflows and integrity of data.
  • Providing feedback, guidance and mentoring on career development plans.
  • Working with colleagues internally and external partners to ensure reporting meets our requirements
  • Responsibilities will evolve in line with the build-out of the Operations Management function over time
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.

    • Knowledge and Skills

  • Good command of the English language
  • Advanced proficiency in standard office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (i.e. PRA/FCA or Lloyd's)
  • Relevant experience of 5+ years in at least one of the core areas of Operations Management:
  • Business Process Management, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Third-Party Vendor Management and Business Product Ownership or similar.
