    Description
    Rootshell Security is a Vulnerability Management SaaS Platform vendor with a supporting penetration testing services team based in Basingstoke.

    Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Marketing Executive who will make it their mission to understand who is in the market for our product and produce content using digital channels to get that message in front of our target audiences to the best effect.


    Role Responsibilities :

    Email Campaigns :

    Design, implement, and monitor email marketing & prospecting campaigns to increase awareness and position Rootshell Security as the go-to authority in cybersecurity.


    Market Research :

    Delve into potential clients and industries to identify those in the market for our cybersecurity services, enriching our sales and marketing strategies.

    Website Analytics and


    SEO :

    Scrutinize our website traffic and write content for SEO optimization so we can attract and educate visitors about cybersecurity threats and solutions.


    CRM Mastery :
    Utilize Salesforce and prospecting databases to enhance customer relations, streamline lead tracking, and capitalize on sales opportunities.

    Social Media and Content Writing : Create and curate compelling, informative content for our social media channels, positioning Rootshell Security as a thought leader in the cybersecurity space.


    Data Analysis :
    Dive deep into spreadsheets and datasets, extracting insights that inform our marketing strategies and decisions.
    Essential Skills and Experience
    Minimum of 3 years in a marketing role, with a proven track record in the above responsibilities.
    Hands-on experience with systems such as Pardot, Salesforce and Hootsuite or similar.
    Proven experience in database management, email marketing, and SEO.
    Proficient in content creation for social media platforms with a focus on engagement and brand positioning.
    Strong analytical mindset with a passion for processes, numbers and spreadsheets.
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    A proactive and curious approach, capable of both independent and collaborative work.
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    Desirable Skills and Experience
    Degree-level qualification or similar experience in relevant subject
    Basic Photo and Video Editing Capabilities
    Experience with Microsoft O365
    Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape/B2B is a plus.
