    Job Description

    Desktop Support Engineer is required for a rapidly scaling enterprise level technology company for their client in Ipswich. As Desktop Support Engineer you will be instrumental in providing Windows OS support across a variety of channels. Accountable for resolving and administering Active Directory and Azure Active Directory as well as taking ownership in Office365 applications and deployment.

    The Desktop Support Engineer will collaborate with my client's customer to troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to desktop, laptops, workstations, peripherals and associated accessories and across Windows platforms. If you are passionate about building and deploying PCs, patching network points, taking ownership of printer performance then this could be the Desktop Support Engineer position for you.

    Desktop Support Engineerpermanent profile required:

    • A well-practised experiences in supporting Microsoft windows operating systems and deploying and administering Microsoft Office 365 applications.
    • An accomplished background in Active Directory & Azure Active Directory knowledge as well as remote desktop support tools and desktop/printer configurations.
    • Must have an excellent customer driven approach to problem solving.
    • Ideally experiences working in the ITIL framework.
    • Abilities in Windows Server is a bonus but not a pre-requisite.

    Desktop Support Engineerpermanent contract details include:

    Start date: ASAP.

    Contract: Permanent.

    Salary: Up to £33,000 base salary + benefits.

    Location: Onsite Mon-Fri in Ipswich, UK.
