    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of The Hockley Arts Club. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind our establishment, the General Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for socialising and entertainment in Nottingham.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide visionary leadership to the entire team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability
    • Oversee all aspects of operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
    • Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued
    • Work collaboratively with your team and head office departments to ensure our products and services are of the highest standard
    • Coordinate and execute engaging events and promotions to attract and retain customers
    • Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
    • Cultivate relationships with suppliers, artists, performers, and other stakeholders within the local community

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or entertainment industry, preferably in a bar or nightclub setting
    • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and empowering teams to achieve excellence
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff alike
    • A passion for mixology, with a comprehensive understanding of cocktail preparation techniques and trends
    • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
    • Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and best practices for alcohol service and venue operation
