    We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator for our growing program of works with SA Water, within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout.     In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Understanding all commercial aspects of the construction and utilities contracts and identifying key areas of contract and financial risk
  • Project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control management and performance reporting
  • Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of commercial terms in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols
  • Management of subcontractor claims (including payment, variations and EOT)
  • Preparation of monthly Head Contract progress claims
  • Liaising closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and the wider project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are mitigated.
  • How you'll connect to the role:

  • Formal Qualifications in Contract Management is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in end to end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors
  • Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation and negotiation
  • Have excellent IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Have a high level of personal motivation
  • Experience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential
