    Sales Support Consultant
    25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays
    Up to 12% bonus
    Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 10%
    Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

    This role will be at the forefront of Caterpillar Marine's energy transition, leading conversations with our dealers and customers on their future needs.

    It will be accountable for business development of marine emissions upgrades, retrofits and repowers by leading the technical sales process with Cat Dealers and customers while also collaborating with our internal stakeholders on new products and continuous improvement.

    Hybrid work pattern - 3 days office or travel, 2 days remote.
    Up to 15% global travel

    Lead the technical sales process with Cat dealers and customers for marine emissions upgrades and retrofits as the product and commercial support expert.

    Primary focus will be supporting the commercial business plan.

    Consulting with the Industry team, commercial team, and dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions designed to maximize product value and price in support of the energy transition.

    Stays abreast of national, regional, and local emissions regulations and works with regulatory affairs team to inform and influence rulemaking with regional air boards and regulating bodies.

    Identifies grant and subsidy programs for emissions reduction available to customers and develops sales initiatives to promote qualifying Cat products.

    Develops and maintains go-to-market and training materials for emissions upgrades.
    Administers training to dealers, Caterpillar Sales Managers, and Deployment Champions.

    Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

    Marine industry experience in applicable market segments for Caterpillar Marine
    Strong ability to manage risk and ambiguity as well as be a driven self-starter
    Prior experience and success in the aftermarket / services space
    You will be joining a high-performing team that's leading services growth for Caterpillar Marine, with Cat dealers.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, Cat dealers, and Caterpillar Fleet Managers to create the best possible customer experience.
