- Developing high-quality first drafts of complex materials, including proposals, presentations and media materials, and flexing verbal and written style to suit varied audiences

- Serve as finance lead for assigned accounts
- Developing content for client's social media channels, flexing your style depending on the audience
- Proactively considering ways additional services, such as social media listening or patient involvement, could support your existing accounts and discuss them with your team
- Facilitating creative brainstorm sessions, write up individual tactics and develop the supporting budgets (as part of the wider programme)
- Briefing junior team members to conduct desk research and analyse their findings

Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager. As the Account Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day running of the account. You have oversight across all activities and an understanding of the client's review processes, deadlines and budgets, and can advise the team on timelines and delivery accordingly.
You will establish a relationship with the client, taking a lead on calls, responding to requests accurately and on time, and being their first point of contact. Your team should receive clear briefs from you, and you should help junior members manage their time appropriately and develop materials which are essentially client ready.
At Aurora, Account Managers also act as line managers, and you will provide mentoring and coaching support to junior members of the agency.
You should have in-depth knowledge of the healthcare communications codes of practice and be able to recommend code-compliant means of engaging with various stakeholders, including patients, healthcare professionals and the media. You take an active role in a business plan workstream and consider the needs of the business beyond client delivery.
You look for creative or new ways of doing things, examining the world beyond Aurora and our industry to identify innovative approaches which can be applied to healthcare communications. As an Account Manager at Aurora you should be confident to take on new challenges and work outside your comfort zone, yet still know when to seek senior counsel or draw in additional support.

Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position will be £35,000 - £45,000. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Aurora reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
