    Description

    A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading global space company for a satellite communication company to provide effective solutions for space-based services of the future.

    I am currently working with an Oxford-based satellite communications company, which is a rapidly growing successful business, that offers the chance for an engineer to process their career and achieve future aspirations in a stable and supportive environment.

    They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop innovative and robust engineering solutions enabling the remote deployment of structures by undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering.

    They are looking for an exceptional Mechanical Design Engineer to join a great team of engineers and as the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
    Design mechanisms to support structure deployment and operations in space.
    Ensure all designs meet requirements according to the TRS and the DDVPManage and maintain design configuration.
    Provide technical expertise and support to procedure and assembly.

    What's required for a successful Mechanical Design Engineer for the role?Prior experience with FEA softwareFamiliarity with mechanism designsExperience with RF systemsExperience in space, nuclear, aerospace, or automotive.
