    The roleWe're looking for a User Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team designing and delivering innovative digital products and services for our Government and Private Sector clients.

    You'll be a great listener and communicator with a creative, structured and logical approach towards understanding problems and designing inclusive, human-centred experiences.

    We're specifically looking for a pragmatic team player with an appreciation of both business and user needs, who's keen to develop their 'T-shaped' skills and is not afraid to take on new challenges.

    RequirementsYou have demonstrable experience of developing and carrying out user research plans that produce relevant insights and evaluation of experiences and outcomesYou're experienced in a range of user research methodologies and broader research approachesYou know how to map and engage with different stakeholder groupsYou understand how to carry out research responsibly and ethically, ensuringprotection of participant privacyYou understand the importance of inclusive research and can demonstrate creativeapproaches for recruiting a diverse range of research participantsYou've worked with other disciplines to define hypotheses and test concepts, helpingshape new products, services and experiencesYou've managed remote and in-person usability testing throughout the agiledevelopment lifecycleYou're able to lead and participate in the analysis and synthesis of research data andfindings, and communicate insights in an engaging and concise way to engagestakeholders in data-informed decisionsYou can define key metrics and measurements used to evaluate the impact ofproducts and services and inform ongoing enhancementsYou're able to support and coach teams and stakeholders in the use of a range ofuser research methods, analysis and synthesis techniques and approaches to presenting and sharing findings.

    User-centred design and agile workingYou're able to produce concise artefacts (e.g. personas, journey maps, user stories) to help communicate user and business needsYou're experienced at working with agile development teams and stakeholders to co-design and deliver products and services to meet user needsYou advocate for and ensure high standards of usability, accessibility and inclusivity for products and servicesYou've a detailed understanding and experience of working to the Government Service Standard. (desirable)Communications and productivityYou have excellent verbal/written, listening and facilitation skills and are confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levelsYou have the technical literacy to understand (at a high-level) technical processes, concepts and constraintsYou have the ability to recognise and work within project constraints, supporting colleagues to ensure delivery of value to the client and their usersYou're keen to support the development of Solirius' internal culture, tools, processes and growth opportunities
