    As a member of theDevelopment Operations Team, you will report to the Development OperationsDirector.

    The role will be primarily involved in Project Delivery , rangingfrom 1- or 2-day projects to full system implementations and includes tofollowing: Gathering technical requirements and documenting specificationsfor implementation of projects.

    Project management of small to medium sizeprojects, identifying change control requests and project risks. Systemdevelopment, configuration, testing, training and documentation arerequired in the delivery of a project. On-site delivery of projects whenrequired. Identify and mark new functionality for checking into coresoftware releases.

    Document standard operating procedures for new projectfunctionality to assist in the process of handover to customer sites and tothe Customer Support team.

    Work with customer services to ensure thesuccessful handover of projects to the Customer Support team:
    Assist theCustomer Support team with second-level support queries. Develop and checkin new code modifications into customer repositories adhering to definedprocesses. Ad-hoc technical requests. CORE SKILLS 3 years working withProgress OpenEdge (Hands-on development is preferred but not required).Project delivery experience. Knowledge of Supply Chain, Warehouse andLogistics processes.

    Experience in the following areas would also beadvantageous:
    Crystal Reporting. Web service integrations. OlikView &Olik Sense. Angular. COMPETENCIES Strong customer-facing skills. A teamplayer. Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability tomulti-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines. Possess excellentproblem-solving ability and attention to detail. Ability to work underpressure.


    Work dynamic:

    Our client has offices in Dublin Birmingham andManchester and candidates may work in a hybrid type role where they willpredominantly work from home but will need to travel to offices as required(approximately once or twice monthly).

    You may also be required to work atcustomer sites located across the UK and Ireland.
