    We are seeking to recruit a Project Fundraiser to secure and maintain current and new income streams with thepotential to support the work of the charity.

    The Project

    The Louise Project is a Christian antipoverty project operating in Govanhill to enable families living with hardshipto live flourishing lives and to enable communities to thrive.

    Govanhill is the most ethnically diverse area ofScotland, and we welcome all people to receive support.

    The most recent migrant population to arrive are theEuropean Roma from Romania and Slovakia and they are the dominant group support by the project.

    The project offers families access to 5 well researched programmes of support, to break the cycle of generationalpoverty, as follows:

    Community Drop-in: Focuses on building relationships, home visits, providing a 'space to be' and access to essentials & a project shop that is run by beneficiaries.


    Community Advocacy:
    Support to manage issues such as immigration status, housing, debt, utilities, welfare benefits.

    Building Better Futures:

    Supports personal growth to enhance wellbeing and the development of transferable skills, i.e., literacy & digital skills, budgeting, college entry level classes and supported employment.


    Building Community:
    There are over 60 languages spoken in Govanhill, racial tension can be palpable. Building social trust across ethnic groups reduces anxiety and discrimination.

    The post holder will work 3 days/week and there is the option for hybrid working, although we expect the first 6weeks to be solely office based.

    As a member Passion4Fusion's Youth Work Team and in partnership with other services and agencies you will support thedevelopment of practice, culture, and systems to improve outcomes for children and young people from the Blackand Ethnic minority community.

    Post holders will undertake, coordinate, and deliver youth work and services through identified venues includingoutreach, detached work and youth participation.

    They will enable young people to access a wide range ofopportunities and receive information and support whilst targeting those most vulnerable young people and withthe greatest need.

    They will provide high quality informal education prevention and early interventionopportunities for young people to help achieve their personal and social development, make informed decisions,have a place in their community and, ultimately, to reach their potential and make a successful transition toadulthood.

    They will plan, deliver and evaluate youth work programmes with learning and development outcomes for young people.
    They will use evidence-based interventions, engage young people through building relationships and providestrong role modelling of positive adult behaviours.

    They will work cooperatively and across the wider early helpdelivery themes to ensure that service users receive a seamless service.

    Post holders will be able to use judgment to deal with daily unforeseen problems with limited guidance, withinestablished procedures, and making practical operational decisions within closely defined policies andprocedural guidance.

    Post holders will be expected to regularly undertake evening and occasionally weekend work to meet the needs ofcommunities and children and young people

    Post holders will be required to take a proactive approach to developing new responses to the changing and emergingneeds of young people.

    At a local level, post holders maybe involved in identifying youth programme funding opportunities including through marketing and selling youthwork programmes and projects.

    As part of an exciting period of expansion within the fundraising team, we are looking to recruit a Trusts andFoundations Fundraiser.

    This role will be integral in supporting the diversification of our income streams andfocus on this important area of fundraising, creating more opportunities for giving across Scotland.

    The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser role will support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead in developing andcultivating a portfolio of trust fundraising and will be central to the successful delivery of our ambitiousfundraising strategy.

    Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.

    Writing and submitting high-quality targeted funding applications.

    Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix, and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
