    Role Overview:

    You will provide guidance and advice to the business within the security architecture space, including privacy and risk reduction requirements. You will report into the Group Head of Information Security, and support Spirax Sarco Engineering's broader risk reduction initiatives by designing and delivering systems both secure and with privacy by design.

    Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...

    • Working closely with Enterprise Architects, other functional area architects and security specialists to ensure pragmatic security and privacy solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks, meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
    • Developing the business, information and technical artifacts that constitute the enterprise information security architecture and solutions
    • Collaboraating with Security Engineers in terms of taking the architecture designs and delivering solutions based on architectural blueprints or refining/maintaining existing systems
    • Serving as security expert in secure applications, database design, network and infrastructure (including Cloud), supporting project teams comply with enterprise and Information Security policies, industry regulations and best practices
    • Contributing to the alignment of Security Governance with EA Governance, project and portfolio management
    • Researching, designing and advocating new technologies, architectures and security products that will support security requirements for the enterprise and its customers, business partners and vendors including Operational Technology areas
    • Working on multiple projects as the project leader or subject matter expert

    Your previous experience is likely to include....

    A degree, or be qualified by experience, in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, with a professional security certification (e.g. Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Certified Information Security Manager, or other similar credentials.

    You will have working knowledge of popular frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS 18 Controls, SCF, CIS Cloud Framework and formal training in relevant enterprise architecture methodology (e.g. the Zachman Framework or TOGAF).

    • Possess excellent understanding of cloud, infrastructure, network, OT security and third-party security risks.
    • Show excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
    • Take the initiative, be proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic and hold a desire to learn continuously.
    • Coach and mentor more junior technical staff.
    • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Be able to engage, challenge, negotiate and influence at all levels, developing and maintaining collaborative working relations across IT and non-IT departments internationally.
    • Be a team player and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
