- RN1 educated to degree level
- Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in area supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training and CPD
- Mentorship Course or equivalent or knowledge and experience of teaching techniques and learners needs
- Relevant specialist pain course or equivalent pain experience
- Leadership qualification (e.g. Springboard etc)
- Significant previous post registration experience
- Experienced and competent in the management of patients within speciality areas

Working in our well-established acute pain setting you will have to opportunity to develop clinical skills, hold responsibility for your own caseload under the close supervision of an experienced team leader, offer advice with support of the team to medical and surgical teams about pain management and act as an advocate for patients and their carers. You will have the opportunity to work with three major hospitals Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary's all with a world renowned reputation for education, research and expert clinical care provision.
