    Description
    The Whitespace Platform is the only truly digital platform for the global (re)insurance marketplace. It is data-led and has been ever since launch.

    This adaptable and intuitive platform enables brokers and underwriters to offer, negotiate, place and bind (re)insurance contracts with each other, in a truly digital form, across all classes of (re)insurance business and geographies.

    Responsible for the development of new sales opportunities, converting these to confirmed sales, managing the client through the onboarding process including the contracting process and maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with the client once on board.

    Ensure that all internal account management processes are followed, objectives met, Key Performance Indicators managed, and results shared at appropriate forums.

    Ensure the timely and successful delivery and implementation of the Whitespace Platform within insurance related organisations / new clients
    Manage the client onboarding process including the management of the Whitespace contracting process through DocuSign
    Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships to ensure all client needs are met both short term transactional and longer-term strategic objectives as they pertain to the Whitespace Platform
    Work closely with the Integrations team to ensure maximisation of revenue generation can be fulfilled through additional offered services
    Attend, run or assist at customer training demonstrations with other Account Managers
    Operate as the first point of contact for non-technical matters specific to your accounts
    Record all work using the company's preferred CRM and DMS system
    Provide support to the Chief Platform Officer and Whitespace Commercial Officer as required
    Undertake full account reviews and analysis using preferred company reporting tools
    Regularly update the CRM system with latest revenue projections to support internal revenue forecasting process
    Work closely with the Support team to ensure escalated customer tickets and queries are handled quickly and effectively
    Willingness to work flexible hours at times, based on needs
    Extensive experience in a London specialty/wholesale insurance market
    Proven work experience as a Broker / Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant Sales role within Insurance
    Education / Training / Qualifications required
    Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above
    Understanding of stakeholder management
    Intermediate understanding of the risk placement process between brokers and carriers
    Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
    Entry level understanding of the global Insurance Industry
    Willingness to learn and be agile in a fast-paced environment
