    Title: Programme Director

    Location: UK, virutal

    Summary:

    We are looking for a Programme Manager to plan, coordinate and direct a number of strategic initiatives across the UK Portfolio. You will lead a team of technical and delivery colleagues in the pursuit of all thing's hardware and software. You will learn about our operations and then recommend the best way to streamline them using industry standard techniques and approaches. You will be responsible for the E2E delivery of an outcome-based approach to succeed customer expectations.

  • Leads a team and creates an environment built around always driving for improvement and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Works with the team to define and initiate projects. Assigns project managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the program by the customer.
  • Accountable for the financial performance of the program allowing NCR to receive the tangible business value and meet the business objectives identified for the Program.
  • Possess the knowledge, skills and gravitas needed to be effective in the project and business and to make decisions that accomplish strategic objectives.

    • Job Responsibilities:

  • Under minimal supervision, the Complex Programme Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These programs contain complex activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures.
  • Liaises closely with the customer to identify pain points and opportunities to drive revenue and most importantly customer satisfaction
  • Completes or tracks completion of project tasks; escalates assignment conflicts and issues
  • Drives improvement initiatives always across the Program and internally
  • Creates areas of opportunity around greater innovation and consultancy lead services
  • Manages the PS delivery project plan including detailed Work-Breakdown-Structures for all tasks and activities including key dependencies from both NCR and External.
  • Escalates poor team performance to PS management team
  • Prepares weekly (or at frequency requested) client status reports
  • Holds weekly project status update meetings with the Client Project Manager and internal teams.
  • advanced skills in finance, cross- cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Identifies and proactively manages engagement Risks and Issues
  • Regularly monitors assigned projects completion against schedule and budget
  • Secures on-time acceptance of Project Deliverables by the Client, manages, revenue recognition and forecasting

    • Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Programme Management Certification required (Scaled Agile, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
  • Agile, Dev/Ops, SAFe or similar experience
  • Waterfall and Agile Methodologies
  • Project Management Qualifications
  • Experience of changing delivery models with the customer at the centre of that change
  • 10+ years of successful demonstrated Programme Management experience with complex Customers
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills
  • "Executive Presence" – ability to effectively communicate with NCR and client senior executives
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrable business leadership experience
  • Domain experience within Retail, both in store and digitally.
  • Excellent analytical, business, communication, decision-making, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Define strategic long-term and short-term program objectives supporting business mission
  • Establish policies and procedures governing program execution and accountability
  • Set priorities and milestones for individual projects and team initiatives within the program
  • Provide guidance to mid-level management, direct reports and indirect reports
  • Report directly to Head of Delivery

    • Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8years' minimum experience within Retail environment
