- Full management of all Treasury operational processes to meet multiple and changing deadlines allowing the Group Head of Treasury to act only in a "review" capacity.
- Ensure all treasury transactions are carried out and documented according to authorities and deadlines without error.
- Process efficiency improvements to make treasury activities streamlined and able to be effectively and efficiently managed.
- Manage the treasury controls environment ensuring operational governance of treasury activity according to defined standards.
- Ensuring full up-to-date detailed treasury procedures are in place covering, scope, definitions, roles and responsibilities, inputs/outputs, systems utilised, procedural overview, workflow, status and controls that can be regularly tested.
- Manage / involvement in treasury projects (demonstrating project skills, technical capability and a start to finish mentality (working with the Finance Change team and/or on other internal projects).
- Effective (remote) supervision, training and performance management of on- and off-shore treasury personnel ensuring they are able to carry out treasury activity accurately and efficiently.
- To act as the lead for treasury systems and their development. Maintain and be aware of system developments (Kyriba and other relevant systems) recommending improvements to processes as necessary.
- Planning and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines and adapt to an ever-changing set of priorities.
- Takes ownership and responsibility to complete tasks, documenting as appropriate and communicating to keep management informed of progress.
- Understanding of treasury processes and associated governance with the ability to create transparency.
- Proven track record of staff management providing effective leadership.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and promote a one team approach and ethic.
- Understanding of insurance business processes.
- Experience using treasury systems (Kyriba Treasury Management System, electronic trading platforms and banking portals).

The Role
The Group Treasury function sits within the Group Finance Team; it is responsible for liquidity and FX risk management, collateral management, global transactional banking and claims payment processing. It's role centres around maintaining efficient transactional processing, financial risk management, reporting and the provision of business support within an effective risk controlled and managed framework.
The Treasury Operations Manager role will oversee the operation of all daily treasury transactional activity management in all locations, lead and develop treasury operational activity and technology, lead treasury operational related projects to deliver process improvement and assist in developing strong links with the business globally to ensure the key outputs of the Treasury function are maximised continually looking to contribute to the development of a 'best-in-class' risk controlled Treasury function.
