With a dedicated in-house design team and extensive storage space, we prioritise meeting packaging needs from start to finish.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Administrator at The UPAC Group in Cardonald, Glasgow. The Administrator will be responsible for performing day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting the team, and communicating with clients. This role involves ensuring smooth operations, maintaining records, organising schedules, and providing general administrative support.
The RoleProcessing of orders, filing and archiving.
Checking and handling import documentation and arranging payment with accounts for customer invoices.
Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on the status of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
Supporting and/or managing the preparation of bulk documentation, files, and bundles.
Dealing with door sales.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate the flow of information and address any supply chain challenges.
Updating spreadsheets and running reports.
QualificationsExperience in administrative tasks and office managementStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication, both written and verbalProficiency in MS Office and other relevant softwareAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProblem-solving and decision-making skillsPrevious experience in the packaging industry is a plusHoursFull time, On-site.
9am-5pm.
