    About the role

    We are seeking a dynamic, highly respected individual to further develop business growth and expand our existing client base, in line with the broader business strategy. Working alongside our senior consulting team, you will be building on the foundation of our existing client partnerships as well as further diversifying our client base. This role requires a broad comprehension of the life science industry, strong understanding of the evolving market access and HEOR landscape globally, the ability to engage in peer-to-peer strategic conversations with our clients and build winning proposals working with internal subject matter experts. A successful candidate will report to the Head of Client Partnerships.

    What you'll do
    • Work with the client development teams to build plans that define the priorities, tactics, and resources required to meeting business KPIs, drive sustainable growth, and deepen fee-earning relationships.
    • Develop new and existing accounts to drive new business opportunities across our consulting practice areas
    • Lead on the development (including content) and submission of requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) by partnering with our senior consulting team to build out client briefs into clear, well-structured business proposals.
    • Contribute to our growth strategy development focused both on financial growth and client satisfaction.
    • Identify our clients' needs, goals and challenges, and provide solutions to these through the proper understanding and positioning of our services, knowledge, and expertise.
    • Be a trusted source of ideas/information for clients and able to establish trust and credibility with prospects.
    • Attend client development events such as conferences, ensuring as many targeted meetings with potential clients are arranged as possible.
    • Establish and manage relationships with procurement groups within client companies.
    • Lead internal collaboration, ensuring connected conversations across Avalere Health's global key account teams, client contacts and business/marketing teams.
    • Work in partnership with marketing and subject matter experts on thought leadership campaigns.
    • Input into a business development and marketing dashboard, and contribute to analysis and measurement of business development and marketing activities.
    • Support the operations that drive growth and maintain the sales efficiency process.
    About you
    • Bachelors degree in healthcare-related discipline required
    • Graduate degree in healthcare-related discipline (e.g., MPH, PharmD)or management (e.g., MBA) preferred
    • Proven experience of client development, account management, and able to demonstrate business growth.
    • Results driven: Takes responsibility for own activities and tasks, demonstrating a desire to achieve the best possible results. Takes a proactive approach to tasks
    • Subject matter expertise in market access strategy, pricing and reimbursement, and/or health economics.
    • Experience of professional consulting, including client-facing responsibilities for business development and client management.
    • Strong leadership skills and teamwork, with the ability to adopt a coaching style to develop skills within the business.
    • Engage with work with colleagues to build outstanding Internal relationships. You must thrive working in a collaborative manner whilst being honest, and integral environment.

    • Direct experience of professional consulting, delivering global market access and/or HEOR programmes of work within the life science sector (preferred experience 5+ years).
    • Strong understanding of global market access strategy, pricing and reimbursement, and/or health economics.
    • Proven experience of client development, account management, and able to demonstrate business growth.
    • Strong leadership skills and teamwork, with the ability to adopt a coaching style to develop skills within the business.
    • Ability to engage with colleagues to build outstanding internal relationships across Avalere Health. You must thrive working in a collaborative environment.
