- Quantitative Cloud Solution:
- Lead the implementation of advanced quantitative models, leveraging mathematical and statistical techniques to support financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and data scientists to enhance models and algorithms.
- Technology Stack and Architecture:
- Make strategic decisions regarding technology stack, architecture, and infrastructure to support the scalability and reliability of financial and quantitative applications (parallel compute, distributed systems).
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their applicability to enhance existing systems.
- Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth.
- Collaborate with HR to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including finance teams, traders, and risk management, to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Foster strong collaboration between technology and business teams.
- Ideally a Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Proven leadership experience in technology roles related to financial applications.
- Demonstrable experience working FIX protocol.
- Proficiency in Rust (a must) and Python.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, quantitative modelling, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development of financial software applications.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives
