    Description

    The Role

    The Law Society is currently recruiting for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our existing Procurement team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement you will be responsible for partnering with the business to deliver a professional, high-quality and efficient service in respect of all types of procurement activities, supplier performance management and contract management.

    In your role as Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and driving a consistent approach towards all sourcing, tendering and contract management activities. This will involve supporting stakeholders with the design and development of sourcing strategies and assisting in the delivery of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.

    What we're looking for

    We are looking for someone with a proven Procurement and Contracts background, ideally including some experience dealing with IT contracts.

    A strong relationship builder, you will have excellent organisational skills, and work with a methodical approach to effectively prioritise tasks.

    You will have proven negotiation and communication skills, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, in particular, Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
