    We are a modern thinking Legal 500 law firm with the Agricultural Team sitting currently at Tier 2 in the South East Region and this is an ideal opportunity to join a successful and thriving practice.

    Our Agriculture & Estates Team understands farming from a personal and professional perspective, taking into account that farming is more than a business, but often a whole generational way of life.

    We listen to the needs of each farming family and often work with them generation after generation to ensure that we can tailor advice to meet their, and their successors, wishes and aspirations.

    The Agriculture & Estates Team offers a wide range of advice including:
    complex tax planning
    development advice
    option agreements and promotion agreements
    advice on easements, licenses, fishing rights, shooting rights etc
    Farm Business Tenancy advice
    Environmental and Energy Schemes
    Biodiversity Net Gain Advice

    This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Property Lawyer from newly qualified to Senior Level to handle a mixture of agricultural conveyancing matters.

    The candidate must have previous Real Estate experience ideally within the agricultural sector.

    The position is ideally full-time and will be based in our Chelmsford office but may require some travel to the Colchester office.

    Applications will be considered on a part time basis for the right candidate but ideally you will be able to work a minimum of 3 days.

    There will also be the opportunity to work from home, if desired, in line with the Firm's flexible working guidelines.

    The role will involve marketing and business development and therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal office hours when required and preferably have their own vehicle as well as a clean driving licence.

    You will assist with commercial real estate areas such as Promotion Agreements, Overages, Collaboration Agreements and Environmental law as well as agricultural law dealing with Easements, Licences and Tenancy Agreements as required.

    You will be key in the future development of the team and this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to springboard their legal career.
