    Description

    Main Role Focus:

    • Manage Trade Finance Operations & FCC Oversight function in London.
    • Ensure team cultivates business relationships with customers, processes transactions, and complies with guidelines and regulations.
    • Oversee and manage Service Provider (CERI) to ensure Financial Crime Control activities are performed diligently and comply with regulations.
    • Enforce SLA with Service Provider.
    • Ensure London branch processes align with local and global policies, building relationships with local compliance and MLRO office.
    • Collaborate with Local and IC Relationship Managers and relevant stakeholders.
    • Work with the global team to maintain consistency in processes.
    • Engage in customer interaction if needed.

    Activities and Competencies:

    • Handle Trade Finance Operations.
    • Provide specialized advice to customers and collaborate with sales teams.

    Leadership:

    • Supervise staff, evaluate performance, encourage initiative, and develop team professionally.
    • Allocate tasks, delegate responsibility, and monitor workflow.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with local laws, internal regulations, and bank rules.
    • Provide instruction and training on FCC activities to Service Provider.
    • Monitor Provider's performance and ensure transactions are compliant.
    • Enforce SLA with Service Provider and take corrective actions when needed.
    • Report control results and actions taken to improve performance.

    Miscellaneous:

    • Support staff and ensure occupational health and safety.
    • Participate in bank events and qualification seminars.
    • Responsibilities may vary.

    Requirements:

    • Banking apprenticeship or relevant education.
    • Fluency in English and local language, experience in international environment.

    Detailed Requirements for Career Levels:
    CBM 02

    • Manage documentary and guarantee processes, ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Support KYC processes for Corporate Clients.

    CBM 03

    • Stay updated on market developments, provide input for projects.
    • Build and maintain networks to achieve quality results.

    Specialist Knowledge:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and workflows.
    • Expertise in writing policies and procedures in Trade Finance.
    • Proficient in Trade AI system, guideline, and Regulatory Manual for Trade Finance.
    • Leadership experience in international environment, work experience in trade finance.
    • Knowledge of workflow management is an advantage.
    • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
