    Description
    Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School in Camden that are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in their Year 2 class that requires close support as they have mild Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours. As a Learning Support Assistant you will need to help the class teacher manage their behaviour and use your initiative to help best support them. You will need to be resilient and be able to quickly create a rapport with the child.

    This school has great transport links and they work hard to provide an environment where children can be excited to learn and curiosity is welcomed

    This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £550 per week. The role is to start ASAP until the end of the academic year, July 2024, on a full-time basis with potential to continue into the next academic year from September 2024.

    What the school are looking for in their Teaching Assistants:
    • Experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
    • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
    • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
    • Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
