    Description

    Exciting opportunities have emerged for passionate individuals to become Course Managers and lead the Prince's Trust Team Programme at a college based in York.

    This role presents a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of some of West Yorkshire's most vulnerable young people by delivering and facilitating our transformative provisions.

    As a Course Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering the Prince's Trust Team Programme, a 12-week personal development course for up to 15 young people aged 16 to 25.

    This challenging yet rewarding role involves a blend of teaching and youth work, guiding participants through a transformative journey toward employment, education, or training.

    We are looking for 3 full time Course Managers to run and support our provisions across different locations. As a cross between teaching and youth work, delivering the 12-week

    Prince's Trust Team programme will put you on the front line of helping vulnerable, complex and challenging young people get into work and/or further education/apprenticeships.

    The Prince's Trust, the UK's leading youth charity, is dedicated to offering 14-30-year-olds opportunities for personal development, skill acquisition, employment, and entrepreneurship.

    Focused on those facing challenges such as unemployment, educational underachievement, involvement in the criminal justice system, or leaving care, the Trust aims to empower young people who may not have had the opportunity to succeed otherwise.


    Teaching the Prince's Trust Certificate in Employment, Teamwork, and Community Skills.
    Engaging and motivating a cohort of approximately 15 unemployed young people.
    Leading ice breakers, team-building activities, residential experiences, community projects, work experience placements, and employability skills sessions.
    Providing one-to-one mentoring and support in creative and innovative ways.
    Writing End of Team Reports after each program completion.
    Supporting the implementation of outdoor enrichment activities that aid learners' development.
    Experience working with young people aged 16-25 who are NEET.
    Outreach and community-based experience with various agencies and organizations.
    Proven ability to build positive relationships with young people, resulting in positive outcomes and progression.
    Recruitment experience for training/outreach activities in the community.
    Management of challenging behavior in a group setting.
    Knowledge of innovative and creative ways to engage hard-to-reach young people.
    Sound understanding of Safeguarding children and young people.
